Training Courses

Adventure Training Consultants, part of the Rift Valley Adventures Group, is the only adventure training school in East & Central Africa. Our courses teach participants the technical and group skills required to be a qualified, safe, and knowledgeable instructor.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

• To provide all participants the opportunity to develop knowledge and new skills relating to Adventure Pursuit Activities
• To develop an understanding of, and practice safe and effective group management and communication.
• To develop an understanding of /and demonstrate Risk Management skills.
• Increase employment opportunities with RVA and in the adventure field in Kenya and diversify roles and responsibilities during employment.
• Develop individual training programs for each participant to ensure they maximise their learning outcomes.

Please note: to gain an instructors qualification for each activity you must be competent in all of the assessment criteria. It is unlikely you will gain a qualification to instruct an activity by one’s self after only a small period of training.
