It’s famous for luxury honeymoon hotels, powder sand and aquamarine seas, but Mauritius offers an awful lot more for anyone travelling with Rift Valley Adventures. We’ll spend time discovering the colonial architecture of capital Port Louis and stay with local families for a taste of everyday life. A true example of the over-used expression, ‘melting pot’, it mixes African, French, British, Arab, Chinese, Indian and Creole culture, religion and cuisine. It’s also an excellent backdrop for adventure, we’ll get sun on our back and wind in our hair on its waves, lagoons and tropical mountains. Bring your clothes and sun cream, we’ll provide the rest!
