Chiang Mai is a modern city in the north of Thailand. Surrounded by a ring of mountains it has a very different feel to that of Bangkok and the south of the country. With a history dating back many hundreds of years, Chiang Mai is rich in culture, arts, festivals and traditions – ready for enriching young minds.

Apart from its rich culture, Chiang Mai is also rapidly becoming a base for adventure tourism. With easy access to pristine jungle and unspoilt rivers there a wealth of activities available within close proximity of the city.

All our groups are based at the Chiang Mai Sports Complex in clean, comfortable dormitory rooms. An onsite restaurant serves buffet-style meals and there are many recreational facilities available within the complex.

The trip also includes a cultural walk around the ancient walled part of the city, a visit to a hill tribe village, an elephant ride and sights and smells of the night bazaar.
