Belihul Oya is a picturesque little village situate in the hills in the south of Sri Lanka approximately 160 km from the capital, Colombo. It is a perfect destination for children to take part in a wide variety of adventure related activities. A programme can be designed to suit the needs and preferences of individual schools.
Belihul Oya is in close proximity to the Horton Plains National Park which is characterized by a beautiful landscape of rolling hills covered in forest and grasslands. The park is home to a wide variety of flora and many species of animals such as elk, deer, giant squirrels, wild boar, wild hare, porcupine and leopard.
The children will stay in pre-erected tents at a specialist adventure activity centre with its own bathroom facilities and restaurant.
