Expeditions
Adventure awaits you! Our PAS expeditions are designed to help students lead and safely navigate the group in a variety of different adventure activities. From pre Silver to Gold Expeditions we provide the necessary safety and skills to make your Expedition a success. Any of our existing expeditions can be changed to make a unique trip for your PAS students. We can even take your group to exotice locations overseas.

Residential Community & Conservation Programmes
Designed specifically for President’s Award and
International Award students.

Would you like to help build a football pitch or a classroom at a local Kenyan school whilst gaining credit for your Gold Award?
Rift Valley Adventures specialises in taking PA Silver holders on Residential Programmes to help gain your Gold Award. We structure the programme in such a way that all you have to do is bring some clothes you can get dirty in and we do the rest by providing tents, sleeping mats, food and of course the community and conservation projects you will be working on. During the programme there will be time to do an adventure activity such as white water rafting, rockclimbing, abseiling, mountain biking or caving! At the end of the programme you will presented with your Residential Programme certificate and then onwards to attainment of your gold award. Our programmes operate on Kigio Wildlife Conservancy and the Malewa River Valley only 1 and 1/2 hours from Nairobi.

The Project
Being motivated and full of enthusiasm is the key to helping in projects. Don’t worry if you think your skills are lacking, you will become a valuable member of the team and contribute greatly to the success of the project. After choosing what projects interest you we begin the real work. Your recently acquired skills are put to work everyday. Projects can be as simple as helping build or paint a local school, continuing research projects, conservation of endangered species, helping agriculturalists sink a well, to helping street kids less fortunate than ourselves. You won’t be left alone as you and your team work with a Project Manager and a Gold Award Assessor.
