The Mountain-bike Instructors Award Scheme, (MIAS) promotes safe enjoyment of all aspects of mountain-biking in an off and on road environment. All of the courses are accredited to NVQ standard awards through the NCFE. The MIAS scheme provides training and assessment in technical and group management skills required by those who wish to lead groups in a variety of off-road environments. MIAS has been awarded the Adventure mark and Learning Outside the Classroom Centre Approval. RVA is the only approved company to offer this course in East Africa.

Wilderness First Aid

Rift Valley Adventures together with SOLO USA brings you two certified and internationally recognized wilderness first aid courses based out of the RVA OL PEJETA CAMP. Each participant will receive a photo ID card detailing his or her Wilderness First Aid qualifications which is valid for a two year period.

Rift Valley Adventures has provided Adventurous Training for the British Army in Kenya since 2002. Starting out as a small provider, we have grown in size and capability where today we can cater for over 400 pax in our own dedicated Adventure Centres and camps in Laikipia, Kenya.
