Sample Couple Trip

14 days Safari and Beach in Kenya

This is a two week safari and beach holiday sample itinerary.  Pefect adventure and relaxation combination.

Laikipia and the Masai Mara are true wilderness areas, rich in wildlife and culture and easy to access by road and air. Our ethos is simple. To encourage clients to see wildlife and interact with local communities, absorbing the culture away from the constraints of normal tourist routes and safari vehicles. Through our Community Safaris our aim is to develop infrastructure within the local schools and provide income for the communities through camping fees, activities and community lodge and cultural centre visits. The key to our Community Safaris is to have a little bit of adventure each day and luxury at night.

Follow up with a week relaxing at the beach. You can be as active or inactive as you want here.  The choices are yours.

Trip Profile

• Group, Staff and Support - All of our trips are fully hosted by ‘Community Safaris’ staff and Professional Safari Guides, where the Lead Guide has international qualifications in Wilderness First Aid, Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association Bronze level or above award, Group Safety, Risk Management in the outdoors and other outdoor  qualifications together with many years experience of operating adventure, community and cultural safaris for adult and student clients.
• Excellent local guides - They are all highly knowledgeable and passionate about Kenya, with an intimate knowledge of the people, wildlife and everything African.
• A balanced itinerary – The main objective of the safari is to have an enjoyable, healthy trip experiencing the beautiful African Wilderness, wildlife and local people. This is a trip of a lifetime after all, and, whilst we make sure that there is plenty of action for everyone there will be ample time to view game, relax, take a nature walk, visit the local communities and schools and engage in adventure activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, rafting, and mountain biking for those that wish.  And at the beach the same choices await you too; ample time to read a book, sleep, rest or dive, swim, sail, kite surf, shop, walk, and explore.
