Food & Drink

Our wonderful camp cooks can keep you full with delicious mount watering local dishes and some of your old favourites using the freshest produce. Have you ever had a pizza cooked on an open fire? Divine! Drinking water is supplied. Vegetarian, lactose intolerant, vegan or whatever your diet requires are all catered for.

Staffing

Our fantastic local teams are on hand to make sure your stay is the highlight of your life thus far. From regular community interaction to wind in your face adrenaline activities that are on offer. Quite simply, our staff don’t know how to offer ordinary holidays. We only provide life-changing journeys that fuse expertly controlled outdoor fun with heart-warming, mind-expanding exposure to other people and lifestyles. And you won’t be the only one to benefit. Your stay will provide desperately needed funds – and practical help – to much poorer communities. You’ll have a great time, and you’ll make a lasting difference to other people’s lives.

Communications

We use VHF radios, Sat Phones and GSM Mobile phones to stay in communication.

Culture

Laikipias two million acres means that you will get to know several different tribes being the Samburu, Kikuyu, Turkana and of  course the Maasai. As Ol Gaboli is owned by the local Maasai Womens Group there will be daily interaction throughout your stay from being active on our projects to chatting with our locally employed staff.

Transport

With our 25 seater safari truck and 9 seater 4x4 safari vans they are just the thing for a game drive and a comfortable, safe trip to Nanyuki for socialising. We also have two four wheel drive landcruisers and needless to say they are all in perfect working condition and fully insured.
