Corporate & Training Programs
Growing Successful Teams
Understanding context and need for teamwork
Using the CAT team model as a basis for the programme, we work from the individual, to the group, to the team level and finally to the organisation. These programmes last from 2 to 5 days and include an array of different activities designed to compliment and enhance team theory. Most importantly they are designed to meet your objectives for the team in the workplace. Celebration is always an important part of team building and we make sure one is on every programme.
Participants begin by understanding the context and need for teamwork. Activities help participants achieve breakthroughs in individual and team performance as a result of a new business culture based upon cooperation and shared values.
Participants practice the skills needed to build teams and a work environment characterised by trust, accountability, support, open communication and empowerment.
Coordinating many smaller groups to make an entire team requires the conscious, pro-active exchange of information between groups. This networking is different from communication that focuses on establishing and maintaining positive personal relationships.
Participants also create a plan to direct their new found skills and energy back in the workplace.
The outcomes from these programmes:
• Participants experience heightened confidence, renewed commitment to growth, creativity and taking appropriate risks.
• Participants experience a completely new, more productive team and a corporate culture that supports teamwork.
• Most importantly participants are more committed to challenges and efforts to increase productivity, quality and service.’
Activities used in this section are similar to those in reactiviating enthusiasm but may also include the following that are described in our products section.
