Laikipia Adventure Education Camp

Situated on Il Motiok and other group ranches on the Laikipia Plateau, our Laikipia Adventure Education Camp operation area covers over 800,000 acres, providing wonderful sites for all types of student educational, adventure and field study programmes.

Our Adventure Education Programmes are unique, utilising a large area of Laikipia from the Acacia covered banks of the Uaso Nyiro River to the glacier covered peaks of Mt. Kenya and down to the sand filled luggars (river beds) at the base of the Laikipia plateau. While we operate in a true wilderness area, rich in wildlife and Laikipiak Maasai and Samburu culture, it is free from mass tourism and easy to access by road and air.

With four options for accommodation, clients can stay in an Eco-Lodge, Conservation Centre, Tented or Fly Camp for a true African experience.

Our ethos is simple. We aim to provide income for the communities of this region through camping and lodge fees, whilst challenging students, making them aware of the need to conserve flora and fauna and immersing them in the local culture.
