Are we sure?

Well yes we are - the ships of the desert – or ships of the plateau – allow us to travel comfortably through a relatively unexplored landscape. A couple of them are riding camels and you can climb on board – it can be alarming to start, so hold on tight! – but this is essentially a walking trip: the animals carry our supplies, allowing us to be light and unburdened by luggage.

You don’t have to superfit, the itinerary’s flexible but we normally cover from 8 to 10 km a day depending on campsites. It takes a little time to slip into the nomadic life, but once you do, these will be unforgettable days.
